We are very pleased with the work Mahoney's florist did for our wedding!
Mahoney's was so flexible and patient during the planning process. For our wedding we had more lush greenery than flowers, but we also needed bouquets, boutonnieres and decorations. Mahoney's was a one stop shop for us, working with us for plant and flower rentals. We even bought furniture from Mahoney's and they agreed to deliver it along with flowers and plants on our wedding day. Before the wedding, we had several meetings with Rachel Abbott, who guided us through her plan with great professionalism. She assured us that she understood our vision and actually realized it!
They delivered flowers and plants quickly on the wedding day and even arranged a special collection late after the wedding. They coordinated with our planner and everything went perfectly smooth. On our wedding night, we had moments of looking around when we agreed that the plants and flowers were more abundant and more beautiful than we expected.
We greatly appreciate and highly recommend Mahoney's for wedding flowers!

Wedding in June - bouquets and decorations
We used Mahoney's for our wedding in June 2022 and loved all the packages they put together. Our wedding coordinator handled most of the communication with them but they seemed flexible and accommodating to what we envisioned. I will definitely use again!

Working with Helen in the florist department was a great experience!! She provided the most beautiful bouquets and arrangements for my wedding, flowers for our wedding cake and celebration flowers/arrangements. Helen, an artist like me, shared my vision and really understood what I was looking for. You could tell she was very excited and enjoyed what she was doing. As the day approached, she responded to emails and phone calls, making further changes. It was just a pleasure working with Helen and I felt confident leaving this big role in her hands. She provided such unique flowers as she had many different flowers to choose from from garden centers and made our place come alive!
So glad we chose to work with Helen at Mahoney's Garden Centre!

Rachel's quality of service and level of professionalism was exceptional. We had a lot of worries that day, but one thing we didn't need was flowers. They complemented our theme exactly and the variety of flowers used really made both the purple and the lime stand out. There were no cheap fillers in our bouquets so I really felt we got a great deal for the price and got something that was worth much more than we paid. We would definitely recommend Rachel for any event.

We used Rachel for flowers and floral arrangements for our wedding in October. I can't say enough positive things about our experience working with her or her amazing eye for flowers.
I had no idea what I wanted, just had a general color palette. Rachel took my vague ideas and turned them into absolutely beautiful works of art.
She is very easy to work with, knows her flowers inside out and responds to emails very quickly and professionally. We were so pleased with our wedding flowers that I now also use her as decorations for a friends shower and I know I will continue to use her artwork for many years to come.

Rachel of Mahoney's Garden Center in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts was the florist on my wedding day and I couldn't be happier with my decision to hire her as my florist. Rachel was incredibly easy to work with; she responded quickly to emails and was always ready to meet me if I had a question. I had no idea what kind of flowers I wanted, so I couldn't easily express what I was looking for, but Rachel seemed to know exactly what I was looking for. Rachel was extremely patient with me throughout the process and easily accommodated me when I changed my mind. I couldn't have found a better florist. The flowers were absolutely perfect! From display pieces to wedding bouquets to altarpieces, Rachel created exactly what I was looking for and paid close attention to detail throughout the process. I can highly recommend her!

Mahoney's Garden Center in Winchester, Massachusetts was an excellent and affordable option for a florist. They were reliable and attentive and seemed committed to giving us the best value. We had 220 people and 30 individual floral arrangements for wedding/family members. They were not under pressure and were very flexible.

When I started planning my wedding, I knew nothing about flowers and only had a few photos of what I liked. Mahoney's staff (Rachel in particular) did a wonderful job of informing me and helping me choose the right flowers for my big day; both in appearance and price. They even ordered a selection of flowers to show me in person to better inform me of my decision. Throughout the process the staff were very helpful in answering my questions and even adding to my order (I added a last minute centerpiece and needed flowers for my cake). They were very responsive and flexible; all i had to do was pick the flowers and drop off the decorations and they took care of the rest. The final products (wedding/wedding bouquets, boutonnieres, table centerpieces, cake flowers and card table) were amazing! They were exactly what I imagined and more. Rachel even used pearl pins and linen for my bouquets that matched my theme perfectly. They also did the installation. I cannot recommend Mahoney's enough!

Wow, Jennifer at Mahoney's did an amazing job for us. We didn't have a wedding reception but we did have my wedding bouquet, mum/dads/grooms bouquets and boutonnieres as well as some other accent room flowers (Cambridge Boat Club). First, my bouquet was amazing. When I met Jennifer, I gave very little information other than our colors. I got so many complements for it! Photographers said it was the most beautiful thing they had seen, my groom loved it, everyone was impressed.
At the last minute (in 1.5 weeks) it was also decided to add hanging baskets with flowers and loose flowers in small bottles to the order. This turned out to be no problem for Mahoney's. I should mention that this also meant they had to do 2 deliveries, personal flowers to the hotel and other flowers to the venue. Everything came quickly and the personalized flowers were packaged very nicely.
If you are looking for really beautiful flowers at a fair price and a florist that is kind, polite, communicative and really talented, I would highly recommend speaking to Jennifer at Mahoney's in Winchester.

Everyone at Mahoney's was very friendly and helpful. I was my sister's maid and a friend recommended me to go there. I'm glad I did! everything was perfect and of course the bride (who lives in Florida) was in love with her bouquet! (I was planning a wedding in New England.) The quality and freshness of the flowers exceeded my expectations. Rachel was excellent to work with and made sure I got what I wanted and more. Rachel was also very patient with my mum and I as we mostly sent pictures with my sister. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone. The price is incredibly reasonable and the quality above all else.

Rachel, the florist manager at Mahoney's Garden Center, arranged flowers for my wedding and did a fantastic job. She went a lot further than I expected from a florist. Rachel spent so much time trying new and different things and offering me different options to make the flowers perfect. I was impressed with the work she did and she was extremely easy to work with. I also got a lot of compliments from people at my wedding about the flowers. I can highly recommend her!

I chose Mahoney's for my wedding flowers because they have the most amazing selection of orchids I could find anywhere. Helen worked with me to design a beautiful bouquet and Ann put together beautiful centerpieces. Everything delivered on time at a reasonable price.

Wow who would have thought Mahoney's Garden Center would be the perfect wedding florist but it was and we would recommend them to anyone. The flowers were beautiful - everyone commented on how wonderful they were and what a great job Mahoney's had done. They delivered everything you could want from a wedding florist. They were professional, worked with us, delivered on time and made perfect arrangements and boutonnieres.

Mahoney did a phenomenal job!!!
Mahoney did an absolutely PHENOMENAL job with the flowers for our wedding! Special thanks to Rachel Abbott who is simply the best to work with. She came up with the perfect way to make a wreath for the little lanterns my mother had made for decorations. She asked me to send sample photos of bouquets that I like and tell her about my favorite flowers, and she used this information to create the most beautiful bouquets for me and my niece. The boutonnieres, boutonnieres and hair combs for our parents, grandparents and groom were also perfect. Rachel even delivered all the flowers to our wedding venue herself, even though it was a good hour's drive from Winchester, for a very reasonable fee. Everything was just beautiful and people still talk about how much they loved the flowers! And most people hardly notice flowers at a wedding! Thank you Mahoney's and Rachel! We will definitely continue to use Mahoney's for all other floral arrangements.

This review is about Mahoney's in Winchester, specifically Rachel Abbott. She used to work in Chelmsford but can be found in the Winchester location. Luckily I knew Rachel who hosted my sister's wedding in 2014, I think my sister found her through Craigslist. She's very talented in a humble way, I'm not even sure she knows how amazing she is. If you are looking for a florist, I highly recommend going to her. She is flexible and allowed me to provide vases and some supplies knowing it would cost me much less than what she could provide. Most other florists would no doubt refuse, knowing that they may charge too much to make a profit, which she does not. My decorations were SO beautiful and my bouquet was PERFECT! My flowers also lasted about 2 weeks after my wedding! Everyone raved about my decorations and immediately couldn't believe I was browsing through Mahoney's. I really recommend watching Rachel!!!

Working with Rachel was amazing! Don't be fooled by her age or calm nature, this woman is a powerhouse with flowers. I explained what I was looking for and presented her with my budget and she created magic. The bouquets were beautiful and durable! The colors were perfect too. He has a good eye, a great personality, and since the Mahoneys grow all their stuff, good prices.

I would not hire this company just because the manager I had to go through was rude and I ended up having to hire another florist at the last minute. when I asked her for fall flower suggestions, she didn't respond and told me "that's what I want one day". I had a list of possible flowers that would be available and she told me it wasn't, but wouldn't say which ones would be available. One day I was forced to tears and decided to look elsewhere.
